I would have started Rui instead of Dennis
It’ll be interesting to see who starts on MPJ… DLo or Reaves. He’s a lot bigger than both but he’s a jump shooter, so maybe DLO with his wingspan on contests would be better than Reaves.

Looking at their performance vs the Warriors with the new traded members they didn't have issues with switching and chasing players in a motion offense. Actually that is what Reeves and Russell do best.

The giving up threes for this team even with the players they have now is due to the team not having great POA defenders and cause Ham doesn't play size the Lakers can't afford to get AD and Lebron in foul trouble with drivers getting into the paint. So they rather give up the 3 than give up the drive.

But with the Warriors outside of Poole ain't none of them boys dangerous drivers and Poole will get hunted off the floor by Lebron. So expect the Lakers to try and run Klay and Curry off the 3 line.

But in the end the Lakers play defense, control the paint and have scorers at every position. So the Warriors will have to do what they don't like to do this year....defend...especially curry and klay.

Like I said in another post do you think curry and poole will be able to survive getting hunted by Lebron with action and pick and rolls late in the 4th using Russell, Reeves and Dennis (and possibly Rui if the Warriors try to hide curry and poole)? The question is curry and poole going to make the right decision on defense (enough to get 4 wins) in the 4th while being hunted by Lebron? This ain't the warriors with Durant going up against the undermanned 2015, 2017 and 2018 Cavs.

@Left.A1 I been out of pocket due to work and family. So I haven't comment in here, but as I said before the series even started. That Curry would get hunted and Lebron and the Laker guards and forwards did that. The Lakers hunted his ass for 6 games. The big thing is no team has a person with the experience and IQ to constantly hunt a weak link like Curry even when a team is trying their best to make adjustments and hide him. The kings never really tried to hunt him. The Celtics never tried last year, nor the other teams that have played them over the years in the playoffs outside of Houston and CP3 got hurt (and of course Lebron when he was with the Cavs always hunted Curry).

Lebron been hunting poor defensive guards and forwards for a damn decade come playoff time (I remember he hunted Korver out the lineup in Chicago and Atlanta). It was just with the warriors once they had KD hunting Curry wasn't gonna make up the difference cause they could score 10 out of 10 possession each time on the other end. If you tired out Curry it didn't matter cause KD could make up the difference and unlike Curry.....KD needs no system to score because when healthy he was the ultimate one on one scorer with or without the ball. Just throw the ball to him without the screen and say get me a basket.

Also Klay knees and mileage made him a shadow of himself on the defensive end. Lebron been hunting poor guards for a damn decade come playoff time.

When the playoffs started I thought it would be Lakers in 6 vs Memphis, Lakers beating the Warriors in 6 or 7, Lakers beating the Suns in 7 and Lakers beating the Celtics in 7.

But fukk it the way the Lakers playing and all this winning in 6 games. I now got them Beating the Nuggets in 6, and Celtics in 6 for a total of 24 games for the title and how fitting that number 24 is.

Anyway expect the Lakers specifically Lebron hunting Murray and Jokic on pick and rolls to get the switch / mismatch late in the 4th qtr. If you remember the 2020 championship run that is exactly what he did in the 4th qtr (besides guarding Murray in game 5 late in the game and locking him up in the 4th).

And I expect like the Warriors game 6 where the thing everyone hated Ham doing (playing 3 guards saved the day) which is playing small ball Lebron at center will end up helping the lakers win in say game 6 and advancing to the finals.

Its just gonna be one of those historic runs (you watch sports enough and you can smell it barring some crazy injury). So for all the Laker fans or Lebron Fans or Both out there, sit back and relax and enjoy the playoff run. No need to bytch, whine and cry about every play and every game. This is going to be like that 1994 Rockets run or that 2011 Mavs run to the championship sit back be quiet and enjoy history in the making.

You were definitely correct about the savvy and poise of the lakers veterans specifically Lebron … however i will say that this was the first time that he really looked to exploit the paint relentlessly like that in the playoffs to me …i thought he wasn’t doing it because of the foot or general tiredness but if he attacks mismatches like that in the post and going downhill that offense looks totally different and they present extreme problems for teams

Rui wont be able to guard Murray lol
But I think Ham is going small ball with dennis/dlo/reaves to force Jokic to guard AD
Reaves on Murray, DLO on KCP, Rui on MPJ. Dennis might be too short to guard Murray. I'm fine with it tho, just happy Vando ain't starting anymore.
