1. I remember about a week or two ago there was a site wide neg rampage on a certain poster because he, once again, pretended to have information that was not his. He fooled a lot of people and stole information and once ousted, was negged into Bolivia. (Suge Knight/OGs pictures thread)

@LeVraiPapi did the EXACT opposite. During the Manny/Floyd negotiations from start to finish he provided the Ring with inside information not known to the most prestigious sports/boxing writers (including ESPN/boxingscene/fightnews) FIRST and even had some of his info stolen from here. He put his rep on the line and stood by his source and even provided (and still does) information on other inside boxing matters. He was never wrong and kept us updated with accurate information.

@patscorpio locked the thread, but if you go back and look at his posts, the evidence is there.

Therefore, I, on behalf of TheRing, humbly ask that LeVraiPapi is applauded for his efforts and given a site-wide POS rep service. He deserves it.



2. Why are there two official Floyd/Manny threads? Just wondering, thought it was strange or maybe an oversight.

what other official floyd/manny thread are you talking about? the one that i locked? that was your idea breh to house all the random manny/floyd posts

There shouldn't be 2 official threads (one in the coliseum and one in here). The Ring was started BECAUSE of the fact it was too many boxing posts and taking away from the coliseum regular posts.

No doubt, the biggest fight of our generation should be held in its proper forum....The Ring. That coliseum thread needs to say hello to the bushes

That would be like having the Loaded Lux vs Hollow Da Don or a Summer Madness official battle thread in The Booth

With all due respect, punishing one for extremely bad behavior and non-reward for extremely good behavior doesn't sound too fair. This is not "some" jewel, LeVrai kept us posted from the very start of negotiations and kept us ahead of EVERY news media source. He had TheColi, a hip-hop forum, ahead of every other forum and news site, boxing focused or not. I, along with everyone else who was following him, believe he's more than earned this. I understand your position on not wanting the door opened to people constantly nagging you for a pos-rep train, but you've already opened the door for site-wide reps, positive or negative.

This is the biggest fight since Ali/Frazier 1, a fight that transcends the sport it belongs to, will be witnessed around the world and has been stuck in "TBD negotiations" for over half a decade with no realistic end in sight. Boxing fans stopped taking any talks of a fight seriously a LONG time ago and LeVrai on his own was able to convince us otherwise. After he'd post information, it was backed up later by boxing journalists and news outlets and made us take serious notice. If nothing else, I'd say that rewarding people who bring exclusive information to the Coli, news THIS big, sets a precedent for anyone else who's considering where they should break big insider news. And let it be known, he was letting us know that it was not done when certain other media outlets were LYING trying to jump ahead of everyone else... which leads me to my next problem

The decision is yours to make, however, you still have not addressed why there is a thread, stickied, in the Coliseum, about Floyd/Manny. This is the boxing section, one that I appreciate more than I say, but also believe should house this event. Let them come here, learn more about the sport, watch videos, interact with knowledgeable posters, have fun, and want to add on to our many debates and have a good time. Also, this isn't a knock on the poster that started THAT thread, but LeVRai deserves whatever accolades are being received from breaking news on TheColi. I think it's fair that credit goes to where credit is due.
