The thing too is that he made this just to flex and try things out. @mobbinfms is my homie, and I get what he means. But there’s a lot of stuff coming with Alchemist, Daringer, Pete Rock, etc. I think Conway is even dropping full projects down the road with 9th Wonder and Statik.

There’s been a string of modern sounding projects in the past 6 months, but there’s so much on deck to keep fans of modern and boom bap happy.

The way they flood the market with releases putting out 8 boom bap projects a year, year after year, isn’t sustainable.

I’m sure they as MC’s get tired of the same shyt and want to try different flows, tempos, pockets, sounds.

They not like boom bap heads they like other types of hip-hop too.

Agreed. But weirdly enough 18 months ago I would’ve told you the exact opposite. I thought Benny was the one that sounded better on more commercial beats. But now it’s flip flopped.

I disagree. Benny is clearly the star out of Griselda. Conway is grimy as hell but his shyt doesn’t resonate as much.
