I’m with you. Something about the big ghost collab projects just doesn’t move me that much. I can’t articulate why either.

I also think Conway to some extent treats them as an afterthought. Compared to his other joints. He recorded the one last year and this one is just a couple days. I know that’s not uncommon but on these projects it actually sounds more like a fast recording.

It’s weird. Conway posted about the JID collab today on Instagram but not this. And he’s not listed as an artist on the Bandcamp download. If you import the files to iTunes it just has Bug Ghost as the artist. No mention of Conway. I really think Conway just drops these to feed the streets and doesn’t take them as seriously as his other projects.
Edit: no mention of this project on his Twitter today either but another mention of the JID collab.
