Let’s be real. We could write a Conway sounding verse ourselves and 80% of it will surface in his verse.
Logic is a try hard and the Coli especially doesn’t like him, but his peers don’t deny him when he raps.
Riff Raff doesn’t take himself seriously, but he stays in his lane. Intergalactic Icons, he’ll write a 16 that makes sense.
Conway since GDMM sounds like someone took 10 of his most random verses and blended them in new beats. You could play bingo with his subject matter in a verse. How his music motivates you, what his lil nikka gon do, what new shyt he just ate or what he wore and where, how he's in his bag, but remember he still got that work and BOOM BOOM BOOOOOM and then say something he thinks is so clever he giggles. And if he goes totally off topic the way he did on Yacht Rock 2, God help us. Even Boldy James' monotone ass was rappin about yachts.
I fukks with Conway, but it's evident when a rapper is just mailing it in or going through the motions. Artists who put out crazy quantity are victims of this. Curren$y is someone who does this plenty which is why I'm glad he doesn't drop as frequently now.
