From A King To A God is flat out better. Not saying this is bad at all but it ain't that.
I'm running the risk of talking in circles, but if you put the best 3 or 4 songs from GDMM into FKTG and FKTG is one of my favorite rap album of the past 10 years. But I love FKTG overall. Everything from the track sequencing, the producers, the features, even the cover art being an expression of how far he's come since Reject 2...top shelf shyt. FKTG feels like a triumphant debut album.

I love the introspective joints on GDMM, but I have to compare the more "rapping just to rap" joints on FKTG and GDMM, I prefer the ones on FKTG.

I feel like both albums are uneven. GDMM was so long in the making it is true that he could have added the best songs from both albums and dropped a single great album. Most of the songs on GDMM were recorded before FKTAG released correct? Even tracks on WWCD were meant for GDMM. I just hope going forward he spends some time on some collab projects before his next solo venture.

Most of GDMM and FKTG were recorded at the same time. There's even some crossover. Fear God was meant for GDMM and Babas was meant for FKTG.

The few GDMM songs made previously to the FKTG sessions were Stressed and Wild Chapters. That's basically it. And a lot of the songs for GDMM were recorded within the past year (Guilty, So Much More, Chanel Pearls, Drumwork...)

90% of the really old songs meant for GDMM were just not added to it and were put in other places. He gave Bang and City on the Map to the homies for WWCD. Some of the others weren't allowed to be on GDMM (The Cow, You The One, Serena vs Venus, etc.)

Water under the bridge at this point. I know Benny just signed to Def Jam for around 1.5 million on a one album deal. That is dope. If Conway can’t get that type of deal I don’t see what the benefits would be for an artist like him to sign to a major label.

I was discussions it because you asked a question, that's all.

I don't think Conway has any interest in signing to a major anytime soon, but I could be wrong.

That's dope Benny's deal is 1.5.

After sitting with this for a while, my opinion hasn't really changed. I like this album a lot. Are the features setting the world on fire? Nah. But I don't care, they're fine. And Conway's pen on here is just insane. Don't really get the complaints about the beats either, I think it's a great mix of grimy classic Griselda and Burden of Proof style neo-roc stuff

Guilty has really grown on me. It’s a dope track:wow: Chanel pearls, tear gas and wild chapters (not bad I’m not a fan of the singing) are the only songs I don’t like. Even tear gas just conways part without that horrible hook is ight, I can just cut it before that if I decide to listen. This is a solid album.
