Conway and 9th got a lot in the chamber; a whole project’s worth of joints. When I heard this beat tonight I thought it was gonna be a more introspective joint. I don’t love the song but I think they sound dope together. I like the beat a lot more than I expected to. 9th is a good switch from his usual producers without being too far off course. I wish this wasn’t the first song people had to hear from them though.

Ilike this song, shows he can make other records too. Kind of like that Anza record on this original version.

I ran this back two times again (full album and deluxe tracks) and this is album is a certified 5 mic classic. Deluxe tracks are all sick. Raw oyesters is my favorite of the 5.
Same here.

Stefon Diggs is also a perfect example of why drumless joints are super dope when they're used sparingly. Every beat on FKTAG Deluxe has drums besides this one. It makes it stand out and it sounds way less boring.
:wow:

Also it's dope to see the 9th joint get love. At face value that shyt shouldn't work at all. It's like an old 50 Cent Massacre era girl joint, but for some reason it works. I've had it on repeat. I figured that joint would get trashed but most people seem to be fine with it.

Last thing. I like that it's not too long. If it were much longer I'd rather it just be a separate thing to live on its own.
:yeshrug:

edit: @Xtz23 did the surprise flow on Raw Oysters remind you of Calvin? It did me. I wasn't expecting that style flow on either of those beats.
