Rejects 3?:ohhh: I didn't know new tracks were coming for King to a god either :ohhh:Whatever happened to that track that he said had Gibbs and Jada produced by Alchemist??:feedme:
:salute: happy to share what I know.

yeah, Reject 3 is definitely coming. Not sure if it'll be all Daringer like Reject 2 was, but most of what he's played so far has been. He's also been playing a lot of stuff produced by Bink, 9th Wonder, and Camoflauge Monk. I think he has enough to drop a project with 9th Wonder already if he wanted to.

King to a God Deluxe should be dropping within the next week or two. As far as I know it's just the same album but with 6 bonus tracks added. I don't imagine he's going to re-order the track sequence. I guess he could, but I doubt it. The stuff he's been playing from it has been largely soul-samples with introspective bars.

I have NO idea what happened to the track that was supposed to feature Gibbs and Jadakiss. I'll post it below. I've kept up with most of his live streams on Youtube during this entire pandemic, and usually he'll play the same shyt multiple times. This is the only song that comes to mind that he played once and then never again. And he said it was going from Lulu over to King to a God, but it obviously that didn't happen. I guess it could be on the Deluxe, but he hasn't previewed it. I hope it comes out somewhere or sometime. :feedme:

Just me or does Conway remind y'all of biggie in some ways? Idk if it's his flow or what but I get some heavy biggie vibes in some of his verses. Obviously he doesn't sound like a clone of him, he's still got his own identity. It's def a compliment.

Probably from the laid back lazy flow.

I definitely hear it too. Big had a lot of different flows, cadences, and pockets that he was comfortable in. He had a versatile and effortless flow. If you read any of my pre-2020 Conway/Benny comparison takes (and Benny even said this too), my stance was usually that Conway was the better emcee, but that Benny has more versatile content.

I was honestly exhausted by him after his 2019. He dropped his 2 worst projects during that year, and every verse was just the same recycled super-goon bars over the same beats. It's like he had to release everything he recorded and had no cutting room floor.

And now that the content is catching up to the flows and delivery, he's becoming one of the actual "artists" (not just rappers) that I'm most interested in going forward. Even the bars on King to a God are leveled up too, and all 3 of his 2020 drops (Lulu, Wicked, King to God) each have their own production style, and I think his ear his improving too. I think a lot of cats that were pleased with the bars leveling up and the content improving on King to a God are only going to get more impressed with the stuff he's got on deck.

I know of Boldy James and 38 Spesh. Who else we got? :ohhh:

BTW Conway played a couple joints off the Deluxe. One is produced by Bink, and then another one called Song Cry. I'm not sure who produced Song Cry. It could be Bink too. They both sound like some Blueprint era soul beats.

I'm saying; Conway's turning into a mix of Big crossed with Sigel. He's leaning heavily into the storytelling, pain rap, and introspective content bag. I can't wait for some of these songs to drop. There's still a few "my lil shooter with the stick" bars here and there, and he's been playing some harder edged joints off the upcoming Reject 3 (sometime in 2021) but it's refreshing to hear him more and more comfortable going outside of the super-goon lane.
-38 spesh/green lantern
-Boldy James
-Jay worthy lndn drugs burnout 4
-Heem/green lantern/Shay long story short
-Jim Jones/Harry fraud (not a fan but it has Harry fraud producing the full album I thought I saw someone here say it was dropping dec 11 guess it’s not)
- fktg deluxe which will probably drop in the next couple of weeks.

conways been on a tear check this feature if u haven’t already breh. Might be verse of the year right here as a feature.

these songs are also piff

^^^ (this one sounds like some 2016/17 gxfr shyt mach would be on.)

His verse on 98 sabres is dope af too but the song gets ruined for me because of the first half of the song.

I never heard that B.a. Badd. In fact I never heard of that cat at all. Thanks for posting that joint. I'm listening to his Everybody Eats project now. Dude is pretty dope.

Was just about to post this, hope we get the same amount of songs like Jim Jones' El Capo deluxe.
I think it's just 6, but he's been recording so damn much :picard:

hopefully he decides to add more to it. :lupe:

He threw me off on this. He broke out a triplet flow variation over a beat that's doesn't sound like that. It reminds me of Calvin. When I heard the Calvin beat I didn't expect the flow we got. Same as below.

Gave this another spin; I think this might be the best album of the year. Just a complete, consistent body of work.
Yeah it just sounds like the proper debut album of a dope emcee that's hitting a new level on their bars, content, and even production choices. Conway dropped an album that's almost 50% no samples on the beats and cats didn't even notice it. Nothing felt out of pocket. Conway went versatile and expanded without anything sounding forced.

Next week should be fun.

EDIT: @BK The Great if you wanna do it I'll let you do the honors if you want to, but when next week comes around it might be a dope idea to make a new thread once the cover and tracklist is out. I guarantee if we only post about the Deluxe in this thread, a lot of cats might miss out on it by just assuming the thread is just about the drop from September.

Yea he's switching up flows, i'm just hoping he gives us more since we might not be getting anything from him until early next year.
