:snoop: at God Don't Make Mistakes album being 85% sample free. I guess we can kiss most of the tracklist (with the 9th Wonder and Roc Marci beats, etc.) goodbye. I knew the hold up was sample clearance issues. fukkin' Shady Records, I swear.

It's a shame because I've heard the title track and it's in my top 3 Conway songs. But besides that I imagine I'll like King to a God (and whatever he has planned after these 2) more than God Don't Make Mistakes. Hopefully if they have to cut Piano Love they'll put it on a Lulu Deluxe.

These guys just don't sound nearly as dope when there's less samples. I thought WWCD was dope, but sonically it got stale faster than any other Griselda release. Different samples can really make things sound more colorful. What Beat Butcha and Daringer did was a creative work around, but there's only so many sounds that Beat Butcha could make before they started to sound repetitive.

I'm excited for King to a God though. There's a lot of variety in production on the album and it's really well produced. The Erick Sermon, Havoc, and Hit-Boy joints are especially dope. The Hit-Boy joint that sets off the project really reminds me of the old Chicago Bulls walkout music too.

Idk if they're fumbling the bag or not from the outside looking in, but I can definitely say they've been leaving meat on the bone
