This always been the problem with all those gender warz debates about going 50/50, the quality of dates, and men putting in effort

What’s ignorant about what I’m saying? Not only am I giving you an educated opinion from 40+ years of my experiences and observations, my Pops and uncles also put me on to how things work.
Travis Hunter is a perfect example of what happens when a breh goes all out for a woman he feels deserves everything based on nothing more than his attraction to her. I’d have a bird like that running errands and picking up food on her way to come get dikked down.
In fact I’ve had a few birds with her same configuration cooking and doing the wildest shyt for me. But he’ll never get that from her because he’s put her on a pedestal.

I think this is an issue. Double standards exist and there's nothing that can be done about it except not participate or change up.

Life is not fair and no one owes you a relationship. That goes for both sexes. What you see happening for the men on the upper end of the attraction spectrum mirrors what you see for women on that end, though not at the same degree. Meaning, that yes the more attractive you are the easier it is to attract people. So, if you are attractively challenged, well fix what you can. We are not all going to be blessed with great looks, but that does not mean we can't elevate our looks as high as possible to then allow our charisma (work that) to take over after you are allowed past the looks filter.
Complaining about the situation will not resolve it for you. This especially goes for males, because no one gives a damn about the complaints of males when it comes to relationship woes, least of all females. So instead take that time to make you better, make your body better, make your mind better, make the manner you carry yourself better, and most importantly, acquire self-respect.
