I was skeptical at first because I watched terrible gameplay but about 1 hour in and no regret on the purchase.

PC heads, any luck playing this w/ a DS4? I booted it up today, but the start menu had an “enter” prompt. Should I disable the DS4 Windows app?

What settings you playing on? My display at 1440p and rendering at 1080p I can get in the 70s/80s fps with settings at High with global reflections set to medium during the opening section up to the point where you first speak to the janitor. But yeah if this game is any indication its over for the 10 series cards

Damn breh... You sure you not rocking a 1070ti or 1080? I got everything maxed except Shadow Resolution (medium) and Global Reflections (medium) and I turned MSAA all the way off but I'm still in the 53-58 at best.. And that's in the quiet sections without the special effects madness 
.. but yeah it's definitely over for these cards breh. :ohlaww:.. at least now I know that when something like Cyberpunk 2077 or Dying Light 2 drops we're definitely gonna need these upgrades

This game's engine is taxing that's all. The performance of Pascal cards on THIS game isn't any indication that it's "over". Seems like the DLSS option is what will allow you to get good performance with medium/high settings.
Control has great DLSS implementation, 1440p/Max settings with 60fps on NVIDIA GeForce RTX2080Ti - DSOGaming

I finally see the light (
). Ray Tracing and possibly DLSS is the future. Getting beautiful frames and it looks like native 4k to me tbh. I’m reading NV has a new filter that makes it look even better
