Wow, Wade Keller of PW Torch is saying Nakamura is effectively done with WWE. They are either going to stash him in catering until his contract expires or release him. Says the LA Knight vs. Shinsuke match was supposed to be at WrestleMania but got moved to Smackdown due to lack of interest.
They’ve completely ruined him. It’s best for everyone.
People on Reddit are saying that someone close to SHINSUKE passed away and he's going to Tokyo to take extended time off
In typical dirtsheet fashion, y'all can believe which story you want to believe
Wasn't a brother. But someone he referred to as an older brother. I see where the confused was for a lot of peopleHis brother died. If he's done, it's probably family related rather than some falling out with WWE.
WWE has been interested in a top free agent.
Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp has learned from a number of sources that WWE has had their eye on Jeff Cobb of late. Cobb has been working in New Japan Pro Wrestling, and even wrestled and won there multiple times this week.
After dropping a match last month, Cobb said “So where does that leave Jeff Cobb? It seems I can’t win when all the marbles are down. G1, New Japan Cup. Long gone are the days when I went 8-0 in the G1. Now I can’t even break .500. Where does that leave Jeff Cobb? Maybe it’s time to take my bags and go somewhere else. I don’t know. I don’t know.”
One source indicated that Cobb actually showed up on the company's internal roster this week. However, we've not confirmed that as of yet.
When we spoke to sources in AEW, we were told he wasn't expected to join their company.
Give me Cobb and Reed as a tag team fukking everybody up…Jeff Cobb to WWE perhaps?
They can't compete with American money. At least ZSJ seems to be a lifer. But then, I got that impression from Ospreay too, who previously said he'd never move to America. But look where he ended up.New Japan going to lose Gabe Kidd too if they don’t get their shyt together with contracts. They got a bunch of guys just working off a handshake at this point.
