I am not a politician. I was not voted in to a position to represent people, issues and causes that are important to them.

Being voted in -- and being a servant to your community -- is what you sign up for when you take that position.

If one can't do that -- and put their careers on the line to fight for those who voted him in -- and need them the most -- then they sir shouldn't have ran or accepted such position.

Madam, thou art fooled on how politics work. Largely about optics, quite frankly a tweet with even 1000 likes is but a mere bloop on the radar.

What is so hard about doing something like this for something thou truly believe in and art dedicated to? Does reparations matter as much to thou as DACA did to the people in this video? Please be certain that a gentleman is undoubtedly for reparations, but would at least like to see/participate in an earnest fight, not a hashtag. Thou shalt need to prove, in real time, to not be an internet fad of sorts.

This will not cut it. What are thou willing to put on the line for justice? If though cannot even sacrifice time and travel to join in mission with those who share thine interest...

The reality is that free thinkers and independent minds who analyze the racial climate in America know that Reparations is 100% justified. There is no logical argument that can be made that it is not justified. The reason why it won't be done, is because it benefits only Black people, and every other group will get angry.

And that's all folks. 100% truth.

I'd just be mad if I had to pay for that shyt. I'm black non-AA and I'm making it happen. I bet not only Asians, Latinos and Whites feel the same way.

Whether ADOS and non-ADOS like it or not -- the conversation and fight for reparations is not ending -- nor will it be silenced.

This issue isn't going away -- and it will be apart of the presidential platform in 2020 and beyond -- until it happens.

Again, I could care less about what a non-ADOS/immigrant thinks about reparations - it's truly not their business. I think many are salty - due to inherent anti-Black american beliefs. So, that makes them white/White Supremacist to me as well.

And whether some people want to believe it or not -- White people don't ever support anything Black related -- but doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

To my surprise - we (ADOS) are not alone in our reparations fight.

But, we must tighten ship and continue to call our representatives and organizations out -- and to task. If you are in position of power to represent Black Americans (ADOS) you need to be adamant about reparations - instead of being afraid to lose your job.
Let the church say amen.

Every brother and sister who is aware of the movement should reach out to 10 other fellow ADOS folks

we need to get out people on code before the end of 2019

Apologies for being skeptical but i’m thinking all this focus on reparations is nothing more than one huge smokescreen that i feel will fukk us (Black People) over when the smoke clears.

Ain’t NOTHING we’ve received in this country that hasn’t been barbed with some form of poison

smokescreen it certainly is. it's literally the 2019 "woke"
