│ They did the same thing with Wikipedia. Remember how upset those on the right get with Wikipedia? They can't handle a widely trusted source of information that doesn't skew history in the direction that their heavily biased sources do. So they created a bizzaro-world equivalent called Conservapedia which distorts facts so they can continue to live in their delusion.

│ As an example, Trail of Tears - Wikipedia for the Trail of Tears details an important event in US history. The article contains a great summary of events with hundreds of supporting document and links to cited sources and related articles.

│ The Trail of Tears - Conservapedia contains a dumbed down, white washed version with a scant three paragraphs on the subject. It's guaranteed to not upset the sensitive conservative who doesn't want to admit this country has ever done anything wrong.
