Ted Cruz tried to mock AOC's scientific knowledge – it didn't end well

These conservatives really think AOC is just some Latina bartender from the Bronx
Even establishment/centrist dems push around the talking point that "she's stupid". We're thrown off cause we actually see the shyt that she says, sees how easily she puts fools in their place and claps back with facts and logic. But 75% of the American population isn't engaged like that, so the hit pieces and misleading clips on cable news are the ONLY thing they know about her. They think the fact that a 28yo just getting started trips up in public speaking occasionally is evidence of lack of intelligence, when their own heroes have been around 20 years and are still fukking up way worse than that, but they get a pass because it's not "the narrative."
Ted Cruz is the absolute worst example of that. You read ANY Ted Cruz profile and they'll always start off with how smart he is, debating champ, Harvard, brilliant, smartest man in the room, blah blah blah. But he has said SO much openly stupid shyt since he came into office it's unbelievable. Either he literally has no clue what experts are talking about when they speak or he purposely pretends to misunderstand because he knows the facts aren't on his side. You could make a 90-minute video of Cruz's public gaffes and errors. But no amount of stupid shyt he says will ever bite into his "brilliant" narrative.
