I wondered if the Roseanne incident would be covered here......

She is a repulsive person, and I am glad at least there is some form of consequence.

ABC is shocked and appalled that a Trump supporter trafficking in right wing conspiracy theories is, in fact, just a traditional hate filled racist.

the right wing is going to be pro school shootings in 3... 2...
They already are, because it increases fear and that's their main political tool. Inciting fear in the stupid white people in the middle of the country - that somehow people are going to come for them, as if terrorists give a fukk about Iowa/Kansas/Nebraska. That way, you rile up their anxiety every time someone commits mass shootings, and then they go off and buy more ammo that they don't need. And then their kids steal that ammunition when they're not looking to commit schools shootings.

I'd say the best way to prevent alot of this stupidity, is by taking money out of campaign politics - but the people who make those laws are the politicians who were elected through obscene amounts of corporate lobbying and large amounts of money in politics.

:francis:

As you can see - cycles of stupidity, fearmongering, and wickedness seem to be a dominant trend among American politics.

Other examples include: invading foreign territories, or funding insurrectionist militias in other countries, and then when refugees flee from those warzones and authoritarian dictatorships that we installed -- politicians rile up xenophobic fears and turn them away, or try and make laws sending them back to the death zones we are responsible for creating.

As well as having school funding be based on state testing, even though the schools who need more funding are the ones that don't do well on tests, because they're underfunded. Thereby making suburban schools get even more public funding, while inner city schools fall into disarray and close down at alarming rates.
