Connor Cook is absolutely an entitled prick fukk-boy, you can easily tell from that short snippet...
However, I'm not exactly finding much in the way of sympathy for ol' Archie either. This is why I love when athletes who are done with their sport fade into obscurity and remain as our glorious memories (unless they remain in the form of coaching, front office, retirement ceremony, or announcing). And I know the MVP trophy has his name on it, but him just standing there to hold the trophy so some kid he could be the grandfather of can take it from him just has a hint of pathos to it

. Once you agree to being used as a prop, being treated like one will sometimes be the natural course.
Besides, I can guarantee that the overwhelming majority of players on both squads simply don't give 2 spits who Archie Griffin is, dude hung those cleats up waaaaayyyy before they were born. I grew up idolizing Montana & Lott and I've immersed myself in learning about league histories since I can first remember, so I have a huge amount of respect for the oldest oldies. However you can bet my reaction to receiving an award from Montana or Lott would be different than receiving one from Raymond Berry or Jim Marshall (but definitely nothing close to the vapid entitlement Cook displayed

)
