This isn't supported. Baby Boomers were the last generation to make a hard turn to the right, and they did it a good 45 years ago. Neither Gen X nor Millennials have shown any signs of the same sort of "move right like their parents" push, so why would Gen Z? (Gen X was always politically ambiguous and has remained so, millennials have always been rather left-wing and have remained so.) Republicans have only stayed alive because of gerrymandering, the fact that they're more diligent in voting that liberals/leftists are, and because the two oldest generations continue to move more and more to the right. They're not making any meaningful headway in people under 50.
Of course, "some" people will always continue the tradition. But looking at history in the USA and elsewhere, there have been plenty of dramatic shifts in voting patterns and beliefs. People don't always follow their elders.
