Damn you taking me back in time. Back then I was dropping tracks on nikkas beats like every week collabing with producers here.

I got a few of those old coli beat tapes from back in the day. Back from them 2012-2013 days when all the producers submitted beats for all the coli emcees to rap over. Those were the coli goldendays lol. Some of those beats are like 10 years old and still fukking fire. shyt crazy. nikkas don't even post anymore, but contributed timeless heat.

@producingfire is as solid as they come. I am forever grateful for his help and guidance as well as @bigrodthe1 for putting this together. I think he may be right when he said @JRBMusic may not be in the next competition. You never know though, the next kid is out there too looking to learn and I know my son will hopefully one day be in the same position these two gentlemen and mentored others. That is whats missing from the game right now with the youth imo.

Announcement - check out @JRBMusic on Logic new album Vinyl Days when it drops June 17th. He is the primary producer and got writing credits on one song and I am very excited for yall to hear it. He also has an album in the fall coming out featuring just his production and dope rappers

I learned a thing or two about composition of beats during this whole ting.

I also understand man's taking beats down as soon as the battle is done.. a couple of my beats I submitted will be on future projects so I wouldn't want it lingering before I drop either.

Agreed, the competition was great, its always nice to hear an influx of different styles at once. It definitely increases the musical pallet.
I definitely take stuff off of Soundcloud that are still usable mainly because anything on Soundcloud is downloadable even if it isn't set as such by the uploader. Which doesn't sit well when it's a main source of income, or you have agreements to keep.
