and we're better at stopping the run
but the defense needs Burnett and Hayward back, badly.. we had a top 10 pass defense last season and those two were a big part of it

I was impressed by the 49ers. I'll be more impressed if Kaep can build off this week because he already previously owned the Packers, so the Pack making all these "adjustments" to stop him were fugazzi.
Packers still have a lot of work to do - but it's nice to have a runner who can break tackles, though the interior blocking could use some work. Johnny Jolly was impressive, too, and losing Greg Jennings obviously was nothing.
