The show takes place before the Avengers initiative, that's why he's alive
No it doesn't. They even say in the trailer that they heard Coulson died and they reference the Alien attack on New York.
Knowing them they might just have Coulson say "Loki was a p*ssy, ain't stopping a G like me" while everyone looks at him like
Not sure if seriousI wasn't expecting it to look that great since all the footage is just from the pilot. Makes no sense to spend loads of cash on something that might not have been picked up.
that is just silly, if every story played by those rules it would kill any emotional investment from the viewer. Even this new show has the tagline not ever hero is super. What to you think that means? clearly they are trying to add a grounded element within the confines of this surreal universeAs for Coulson coming back to life, they'll just say it was a life model decoy or say it was a non fatal injury but Fury faked his death. Also keep in mind that this all takes place in a universe with Aliens, flying aircraft carriers, super soldiers, and other outlandish shyt, so "It's not believable" should not be a complaint leveled at the show.

this isnt the comics and some things dont translate in live action.Shield agents have to take down super powered beings from time to time. The Avengers or XMen or Spidey or whoever aren't there to stop every incident. I'm not buying the "grounded" argument. Just a look at the street team. And regular human characters have come back plenty of times in the comics

Yesterday's debut of the first full trailer for "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." immediately led to fan speculation that the mysterious hooded and super-powered character played by J. August Ricards might be Marvel's Luke Cage. In a new interview with Executive Producer Jeffrey Bell, however, IGN has learned that the character in question is someone else altogether, although his identity remains a secret.
"Its not the [character] people are talking about," Bell said when asked about the potential of Richards playing Cage. "...Honestly, we were looking for this part, and we just said, 'Look, all our parts are open to all diversity.' So the fact that we have a black dude who is awesome and it's J was just because he was the best actor. It wasnt like, 'You know who !'
So the speculation continues with the hint that the character's ethnicity may not correspond to his comic book counterpart, whoever that might ultimately be.
What is known is that Clark Gregg will reprise his role as Agent Phil Coulson from Marvels feature films and that the series will follow him as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary.

I'm convinced at this point that it's Michael Collins......
some are speculating its wonder man since he mentioned hiring the best actor and looking at his powers in the trailer
How the fukk is Coulson alive?
yeah wasnt expecting that.Looks almost low budget and like a cross between mutant x and covert affairs.I was expecting some alias but with super heroes type show..I guess my main gripe is that looking at that trailer and i am struggling to see why this show was made at.
ps hope they have a good explanation for coulson being alive..
Yeah I thought it was Deathlok too because of the tech on his arm. That tech looks to be similar in design to the Chitauri too so maybe they will tie it to that invading aliuen race from the Avengers movie.I think it's Deathlok because of that one brief scene where you see some weird tech connected to the characters arm, he seems to be either hiding or on the run, the Dethlok character has ties to S.H.I.E.L.D. and his origin could easily be the basis of the first episode.
So this is gonna be Maria Hill's show, RIGHT?
