there are some interesting viewing orders that I've read online. I'd suggest looking some of those up, it might make for a much better viewing experience for a first timer. There is an order called the "Machete Order" which eliminates Episode 1 from the viewing and you don't miss anything in relationship to the other episodes. The Machete order is "IV, V, II, III, VI"
