Hit up Youtube and watch some MS Access Tutorials. :yeshrug:

Or take a MS Access class at your local community college. Once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad.

i watched a couple of tutorials
and i fukked around with it a bit
im still having trouble with what im tryin to do
i know about the query, but i dont really need it because it has a search bar inside of each table
im gonna make a different table every single day with all types of info
i need a search bar that'll search through all the tables

LWO FOREVER
thanks for the input
i been fukkin around with it for a few
this is where im confused
i made a couple of tables
each table represents the transactions for that day
every table has the customers number/address/etc
how could i find if that customer has called before?
i could find it if the specific table is open, but it would only be for that day
how could i find if they called without openin every single table
make a relationship between the tables breh

you only need two tables a customer table and a transaction table

:whoa:

Stop right there. That is just redundant. Like the poster above said, make relationships between the customer table and the services table. That way you only need to make an entry in the services table when you provide a service to an existing customer.

Before he can begin to do any of what y'all are telling him to do. He needs to understand the basic concepts of the relational data model. Without doing that, he is only gonna end up creating a database with a lot of unmaintainable/possibly incorrect, redundant data.

That's true.
I'm trying to simplify it all. Just thinking about it, I know his tables would need a couple more columns. It would be a relatively easy database to maintain. No mega-complex queries to perform. Just ad-hoc queries to obtain last-time-serviced date.
