At least share what it is you do. If I maxed out all my bonuses, it would be around $8500 or something, so your bonus potential is 4x what I can bonus. Your salary is probably larger too, but give me a general outline of what you do because I looking to change careers anyway...

30k is my max bonus this year, i hope i get at least 20. Fwiw, i have never gotten a max bonus in my life

Damn that's a good bonus...but I bet uncle Sam taxed the shyt outta that shyt. My bonus was 3400 before taxes and the gov't took 1400 off top ....but an extra couple grand is always welcome

Used to, and now I'm in the Energy Sector, still doing IT work.
My new company has bonuses structured in, and pre-negotiated @ hire, so we know what\when\how.
It's a world apart from my old job, in many ways.....
I do realize Energy is more volatile, BUT the reason I was even available for another gig was all the unpredictable business-level issues my old Healthcare facility have underway.....
We hadn't had bonuses in 4 years, and that last time, we had annual evals, and one on ones where our individual bonuses were discussed. We never saw that money, any of us...
