I'm a Business/Organizational Comm major and I've entered into marketing, accounting, and financial analysis. Dope major and I'd do it again.

math or engineering. i would say look at the types of jobs open in the oil industry, and see what degree you need. chances are it will be something involving business or the science of getting oil out of the ground.

energy jobs will probably have you at six figures very quickly.

thanks

I have a Communications degree and it is worthless. Do not waste your time going back to school for one.

^This.

The only way a Communications degree is valuable is if you attach it to something else. I have a Communications degree attached with Management and an English Minor. A lot of people I know double-majored in Communications.

bachelors or masters?

what type of field?

what type of fields did you find open to you?

bachelors.
im in tv news. im a photographer. i didnt look anywhere outside of TV.
narrow down what you want to do and it can translate to any field. PR, Marketing and Advertising, journalism it can all run together. If you can do one you can easily transition to another. Communications is such a broad field

Don't isten to people hating on Comm degrees.

It wasnt for me, but there are CEO's and other high ranking marketing experts with nothing but a Bachelors Degree in Comm. Much of their success is working/dealing with people.

Also you can do broadcasting and other stuff.

They key is that you have to have a passion for it.

This guy @RamDam12 is just being a troll but communication is truly bullshyt if you want to do broadcasting. Journalism is what you gotta do for that.
