This just came on the playlist sset on shuffle 
I will stand up for this one and say it is a top 5 hip hop album DOA,it aged like wine.Common was in his zone on this one,the writing and delivery are some of his best ever.I heard this album for the first time sitting in a bar with my mans and we told the DJ to keep it on repeat for the time we were there,went to pick it up the next day and played it at least once a week ever since.That Common/Dilla/Soulquarians combo could have done so much more great work,i wonder what a follow up would have sounded like
I agree, it's definitely up there. One of the maturest musical directions in hip-hop ever! It has laid the foundations of the likes of To Pimp A Butterfly.
