All of the comments were dumb, but this particular comment really stuck out to me. I always hate when they use the phrase "playing the race card", as if it's all a game and that anti-Black racism isn't a thing. They're so scared of discussing race because they know they've got blood on their hands after all these years (and still do today), so they always want to shut down any discussion of race whatsoever. Because they do that, the racism keeps repeating itself.
I'm not surprised to hear that the comment section is like that there. Probably most online comment sections are breeding grounds for intolerant and ignorant cowards. They see the world changing and are mad about it, so they seek refuge behind their computer screen and screech things that they'd never say to anyone in person.
