Interesting bruh. Yeah I know they had reconciled, too bad BHC3 was an abomination but better to be friends than foes. Landis made American Werewolf as well so he always gonna be appreciated. That twilight zone shyt was bad judgement and he should've been shamed for that shyt which he was.

He’s still shamed for that shyt. I heard an anecdote on a podcast about a very recent screening in LA of dawn of the dead and he was there so of course when the zombie got it’s head cut off by the helicopter a lot of people in the audience turned to look at him.

Poor judgement but the man has paid his penance.

He said the issue on Beverly Hills cop 3 was Eddie wanted axel to grow and be more Denzel than Eddie. And the movie just didn’t work at that point

Interesting hearing saying Eddie Murphy he was going to direct the movie himself. Wonder if he made his debut with this and not Harlem Nights a year later- and it was a box office sucess ( although neither was a hit with critics- more so Harlem Nights) would Eddie had directed more.


Funny enough, I mentioned it was behind Rain Man and Who framed Roger Rabbit. Who framed Roger Rabbit celebrated its 30th anniversary a few days ago. Eddie Murphy says he turned down the role of Eddie Valaint.
