Meh.

No amount of word rearrangement is going to free so called black minds from the matrix of white supremacy. Even calling ourselves 'black' is abiding by the color coded branding that the control system set up. At what point are we going to roll the verbiage back to before we were labeld "negro" and it's other derivatives with all the INHERENT negative connotations within this society...you ready to let that go? Or would you sooner just define it as you wish?

Magially getting rid of the word isn't going to afford 'us' any more headway than going from negro to colored, to POC or whatever it is now. The power isn't in the words themselves, it's in the definition and meaning assigned.

I don't want to own or disown the word, I want it to just be a fukking word. Neutralizing the word and "blackness" as defined by the system all together is the path of least resistance to whatever it is you think this is going to acomplish, not more flowery language, my nikka.

Honestly, I don’t give a fukk anymore. Ain’t shyt “liberating” about censoring a word we as Black Americans reclaimed.

Fukk that respectability bullshyt, mfers act like changing a word will change our material realities in a system that we’ve been exploited in for almost to 1000 years. We are at the absolute bottom of society. That shyt is by design, shyt that was done TO US.
You're too short sighted to understand the connection between the language and culture of a people.

Its part of our programming at this point. Out of all the things black people need to consciencesly make an effort to break free of. The n word probably aint in the top 10. But as long as you listen to rap,and as long as you have a limited vocabulary. You probably are going to use the word as a crutch more than anything actually harmful.

But just look how dudes magically stopped using the word f@ggot,once rappers got chumped and made to stop using it:mjlol:.

With that said, whether I use that word or not its not going to stop me from getting upset if a cracka calls me a n1gger:gucci:

Whether I react or not will be based on the fact im older and wiser now. So i think about the consequences and if its worth it. And im guessing nobodies ever called you that for you to actually know if your "free" of that word or not lol. I will never judge anybody for how they react to being called anything. I might judge them for an overeaction or going about it in a stupid way.

But there is nothing wrong with beating the brakes off someone who insults you intentionally. Theres something wrong with the fact its illegal to do so. You can blame that on the European.

Your post is extremely ironic to me because we are at the absolute bottom of society largely because of how we feel about ourselves and each other.

And us calling and IDENTIFYING as "n1ggas" is one of the main reasons why we think so lowly of ourselves.

Nothing will change until we change from within. I know we HATE to hear that. We'd rather the white man to decide to take his foot off our necks.

It's crazy to me that the simple concept of stopping calling yourself the most degrading and dehumanizing word on the planet is labeled "respectability politics". Wow!!!!

Yeah, i’ve been working my way away from the use of the word. I watched myself on video saying it and didn’t like it. Plus, having kids made me really work on not saying it at all.

You're too short sighted to understand the connection between the language and culture of a people.

The last thing anybody could accuse me of is being short sighted. Trying to have a funeral for the n-word is the most short sighted thing you could do in regards to this issue.

Also I study language in depth and fully understand it's power in every aspect of our lives, which is why I refuse to invest effort or attention in either direction into nikkadom of any kind. The "culture of a people" in this case, which is really just a COLLECTIVE EGO is centered around victimhood that I have very little attachment to. Black twitter lost it's mind because some white bytch called a bobcat a nikka...A BOBCAT

:russ:

In the interest of being far-sighted...what would be more pratctical...putting the 'nikka' genie back in the bottle, baning it, substituting it out for "My G" or neutralizing, if not dissacociating from nikkadom all together?

We need a clean slate and you're never going to get so called black people en masse to move exactly the same way unless they're in danger and have to out of survival. I've literally seen people on here romanticize the civil rights, segregation era for that very reason...

Swapping out words ain't going to undo that kind of damage.

All other terms that were used to refer to other men are long gone, but the N word remains and holds the longest running record. The brain dead think its cute and somehow signifies a bond between men, whereas the enlightened know its being kept in the mainstream to reduce the dignity of Black people. Theres no reason the N word is still in use unless the powers that be designed it that way.
Corey Holcomb said on his show, when they shot "Black Jesus" producers allowed the N word to be used as much as possible while "bytch" could only be used like 1 or 2 times per episode and only in certain contexts.

I been stopped using that word irl unless I am hanging around real close fam, and even then it only comes out a few times.

I have always found it a waste of time telling non-Black people to don't say it when thousands upon thousands of Teens/Adults are saying it a music concerts still. Shyt is a losing battle unless rappers stop using it.

In terms of the slur, I have reached a point in my life where words don't hurt me if coming from random ass people. I will call them out on it though and tell them they are a POS. Now there is instances where I try to walk away but the person keeps at it. So if they do that or touch me, that is a different story :manny:

Nothing is more cringe than hearing kids say it..such words affect the mind
