I honestly love videos like this. :manny:

It's proof that black people did NOT take the power out of the word. Isn't that the entire point of us calling OURSELVES that word? Wasn't that supposedly the plan? Call ourselves "n1ggas" to take the power out the word? Well, looks to me like the plan failed miserably and that word still has plenty of power over us. We still get upset and offended when we're called that word..... completely contradicting the entire point of calling ourselves that word.

I would love for more black people to join me and "come out" of that word. It's a truly liberating feeling :ahh:.

I feel NOTHING when the Nword is used as a slur. Because I don't use nor IDENTIFY with that word. It's like calling a person named John, Michael. John doesn't identify with the name Michael so he doesn't react to it.

Most of you literally IDENTIFY with being a "n1gga". You've been programmed to believe In your own mind that you ARE a "n1gga" so it offends you when you're called one.

Sure, I understand people with power using the word (judges, cops, etc) but even then I'm not personally offended, those people just need to be removed from their position.

But meth heads like the one in the above video, I could careless, hell call her a "n1gger" back.

Why can't she be a "n1gger"? :jbhmm:

Please black people, join me. Come up out of that degrading and dehumanizing word.

One of our biggest problems as a people is we've been programmed and conditioned into IDENTIFYING with being a "n1gga". Most of us have no idea how damaging that is to us.

The biggest affect of this is that we think lowly of ourselves and each other on a subconscious level. That word handicaps us spiritually and mentally.

The majority of you are gonna react violently to this thread because that word is so engrained in your language but I would like to issue a challenge to the small percentage of you who are redeemable.

Try typing the word "brother" "brutha" "dude" "homie" "bro" "my G" "king" , whatever instead of "n1gga".

There's a friendlier and more brotherly energy behind those words.

"N1gga" has such a venomous and hateful energy when it's used alot of times by blacks towards other blacks.

We HAVE to change the way we speak and interact with each other. It will lead to so many great changes within us and manifest itself outside of us as a collective.

Coming out of that word is a great start.

For me it is a vocabulary issue now. I know and have heard many people say it so much it comprises a large portion of their speech. Uses it as a noun, verb, adjective, etc... . Cant speak without saying it or even speak without cursing in general.

It's like somebody being told all their life they're paralyzed when they're not. And then they pass it down to their kids who pass it down to their kids, etc. Generations embracing a 'crippled' identity.

Most in that situation would naturally push back against the notion that they could just stand up and walk away. The wheelchair is an essential and can't be separated from who they are... But the ones brave enough to take those steps :wow: That's gotta be liberating as hell right??? Now imagine them trying to liberate the rest of their fam from this lie.

Gtfoh with that 'walking' shyt :camby: Being paralyzed is not the same thing that it means for others. Our family earned the right to be paralyzed and it's a mode of endearment for us now :blessed:

All other terms that were used to refer to other men are long gone, but the N word remains and holds the longest running record. The brain dead think its cute and somehow signifies a bond between men, whereas the enlightened know its being kept in the mainstream to reduce the dignity of Black people. Theres no reason the N word is still in use unless the powers that be designed it that way.

It made perfect sense, stop derailing and trying to start the "shyt on the OP" train , corny 😒

Sir, I don’t hop on Coli bandwagons. I agreed with his first paragraph because I don’t use the word myself. I was pretty clear where I said he lost me, when he insinuates we should find no offense even when it’s used as a slur. I simply disagree. But look at you though. I guess you have more issue with my comment than if someone walked up and called you a n-er.

We've discussed this ad nauseum :snooze: . I respect the brothers here who don't like it and make a conscious effort not to use it towards them if I remember. Don't use it in my daily life/IRL but I'm also not offended by it :manny:. Sometimes it just hits like no other word in my vocab. I mostly post it for comedic effect or to sometimes signal to others that "I see you" :myman:lmao. Sorta like a virtual head nod. I can admit it's problematic but I just don't give it that much thought. It ain't that serious to me.
