The team looks a bit more 'cohesive' than usual. I'm not constantly yelling, "Man what in the world are they doing out there?' like usual and that's a positive. I see that they are dedicated to the run. I'm glad the play-calling was handed off to Callahan. It allows Garrett to focus on head coaching solely, which as a young head coach, you want to do.
Frederick was looking solid out there. It'll be nice to watch an offensive where the QB isn't running for his life all the time and running backs aren't getting touched as soon as they get the ball. I hope the O-line really steps it up this year. Tanner was impressive. Beasley could have done better. He missed that touchdown and dropped a few other passes. George Selvie was looking impressive out there.
