Coming from an Auburn fan: Derrick Henry might be the best back ive ever seen

Emmitt did that routinely for a decade, exceeded it greatly 7 of those 10.

AP did it, give or take 10-20 carries, 6 times.

Barry exceeded it significantly 7 times, and left early on top of his game w/ probably at least another 3-4 workhorse seasons left.

I can go on listing names, but I'm sure you get the point. Not saying this kid is going to approach their level, but he's shown the potential to, and he could def hold up and be the exception to this generation's new RB rules.

He got stronger as the season went on, and has improved every year of his career. I hope he can be a modern day workhorse.

Time will tell. Either way the kid's the real deal though.

I'm about the long game not the short one. Derrick Henry will be a nobody after this one lucky season. I'm happy for him that he did it in a contract year so he can get paid. But its over for his tall clumsy ass.

He ain't good. One lucky season don't mean shyt. Peyton HIllis had one great season as well not too long ago and was never heard from again. True greatness is about CONSISTENCY.

This bum will go back to being trash after he gets overpaid this off-season.

He's been a stud since he came in.

His first 2 seasons he didn't get enough carries, but he excelled when he did.

His rookie year he went for 110 carries 490 yds 4.5 ypc & 5 TDs.

2nd season 176 carries 744 yds 4.2 ypc & 5 TDs.

Then year 3 he finally got close to a workhorse back workload and capitalized–215 carries 1059 yds 4.9 ypc & 12 TDs.

And of course this season 303 carries 1540 yds 5.1 ypc & 16 TDs.

He's clearly shown he's not a flash in the pan and nowhere near a bum.

I think Zeke would do better than Todd has in La because his style of running since he's a little quicker. Could make a little more happen behind a shytty line but I have no doubt Todd behind dallas's line would be better than Zeke. That line is insane. I think Todd with a head of steam is > Zeke and that oline would give him space to get going. Overall I think Todd is still a better rb talent. If I were Dallas I think Ramsey and Henry in the second round >> Zeke. Derrick Henry behind that line would be unstoppable. I don't think Henry is better than Zeke or Todd but once he gets going he's impossible to stop.

Ppl gotta stop acting like oline play isn't the most important part of a run game. A washed McFadden was averaging 4.6 yards a pop behind that line with no passing threat. Zeke is good but he's getting overhyped. Todd is getting unfairly blamed for the complete shyttiness of his oline and offense

Titans were trying to do too much of that RPO and spread shyt with Mariota that's why Henry wasn't able to go off before this season when Tannehill became QB. It was always there, Titans just weren't using him right.

Good thing though tbh.

If they had him running like this with mariota as the QB they prolly never would have gotten this far and Henry would be depleted.


They really were careful with Henry till this year. That's why I could see him being able to produce similar numbers for 2 more years. After that though, who knows RB's age like milk
