This is what logical deduction has led me to believe as well.

Now my question is: for how long was Drumpf planning this personnel change?

Ever since Comey publicly stated that there was an ongoing investigation. The timing is weird though, maybe there is truth to the grand jury's convening. Sessions recused himself from both the Clinton matter and the Russian investigation, so the official reasoning is pretty weak, not illegal though. This will not blow over, this will not end the investigation. This administration, and the R's will regret this. I know you Trump sycophants keep claiming this is not a big deal, but this will not end well for anybody associated with Trump, or anybody that is actively obstructing this investigation.

These investigations are a wrap. Hearing Pence talk like the suck up he is, is so annoying. But also seeing the other Republicans support this tells me this is a mega cover job. House and Senate intel investigations ain't going no where unless major stuff leaks. And the next FBI director will close the investigation at the order of Trump.

I thought FBI people would start leaking, but I'm not so sure now. And CNN just reported that the Senate intel chair said Comey will not testify tomorrow. The acting FBI director who Trump likes will be.

If you thought he purposely helped make trump win, why would you be upset he was fired? That would make no sense since he would go easy on the investigation. Democrats wanted him fired too. I don't get the huge outrage from them.

Well, you have to remember, so long as the gig is going, these Republicans will do anything to ensure that their party has control of the House and Senate in 2018. If this were a Democrat-majority or Democrat-controlled House and Senate, I think the Republicans would've been more likely to cooperate with a Senate investigation and flee from the sinking ship that is Drumpf's administration like rats on a sinking ship.
