Yeah but Pence, assuming office after a president is removed/resigned post-impeachment, would be hobbled. The Republican Party would be torn asunder, their agenda derailed and the Democrats would sweep the 2018 midterms in a tsunami while being assured of taking the White House in 2020. A Trump impeachment is the best thing that could happen to this country, by far. Pence would have a year at best to get anything done.
