Dude was food, simple. And to keep it a buck, Jamie was roasting everyone that night since he was mic'd up and tossing anecdotes and sound effects on a varying level of comedic insulting variety and Doug just offered him the most material to work with it, by spouting bullshyt on the mic and not having the wit to snap back and defend himself from it.
Both him and Jamie juelz in terms of why it happened, with Jamie trying to save face saying that Doug was bragging about being bigger than he was and all that with Doug denying it (I believe Doug more than Jamie on this shyt 'cause Doug's only claim was a handful of forgettable Comic View appearances and that short lived BET sketch show Uptown Comedy Club) but man, it was just the perfect atmosphere for a funny ass shytstorm and they should both just accept that shyt.
It's the only reason people seek out that roast or even paid money to see it online.
