I'm right across the river in NYC...my sis also did this and started at 32K, but she went back to school and is about to be done with her masters. She's not trying to do social work anymore, she can make more money doing psychology stuff in a hospital now.

My motivation is different though, Im not really in it for the money. The state is gonna pay for my college classes so Im not worried about paying back loans. Still regardless Im gonna go for the masters
