Being nosy and gossiping is not the same thing. Gossiping is only a part of being nosy. Some nosy people don't gossip, they just snoop. I only gossip on the internet and to my grandmother. Irl, I only listen to gossip , I don't tell anyone's business (unless it's about a celeb, then I do tell others unless they told me not to say anything.).

I'm nosy on Facebook with a few particular family members. Only because they put all kinds of hilarious drama on their walls It's entertaining

I have a nosy co-worker. Anytime she's in my area she's asking about what website I'm on/what I'm doing I'm pretty fast with the alt/tab, but sometimes she sneaks up on me. I'll tell her to mind her own business, but since we're friends outside of work she thinks I'm joking.... I'm not.
