For everyone -- including Black people.

And sadly, if the NAACP, CBC and other Black and CR organizations would champion ADOS issues -- this would be addressed and wouldn't have to be a campaign issue.

I’m not clear as to how what you trying to convey here applies to what I posted.

This short introductory article that they didn’t write for themselves wasn’t meant to be the end all be all definition of how they feel about the myriad of issues that black people face.

:gucci:

Working in press and media -- you are given talking points and asked to speak on issues that you plan on covering/champion.

This was their chance to do so. Again, common sense.

They are being used as the "token Black people" -- yet they don't speak ONE sentence on Black America/ADOS issues. And the main one being reparations/redress? Come on...

They are interviewed and quotes/initiatives are pulled into a article/op-ed.

Look, they don't even have a "Black/ADOS Media Secretary" -- and I guess cause they are Black they don't need one huh? Do Black Americans/ADOS not deserve a dedicated Press/Media Secretary?

Do you not see their descriptions on why they are on Mr. Biden's team and what they plan on championing because it's something close to their hearts?

Heaven on Earth
All fighting for LGBT and immigrants rights
Which all fall under the umbrella of “Civil Rights”..

They start yelling Civil Rights and think that all Black folks will get triggered to a scene of their grandmother being forced to drink from separate water fountains. It’s such a broad generic term.

So when they start talking about “Civil Rights”. Best believe your Black ass issues aren’t even really on the radar. You might not even make the top 10 on these politicians agendas.

Demand specifics like these other groups do.. All Lives Matter politics are dead.

Civil rights and voter suppression aren’t specific to Black people. Those are code words like. “Criminal justice reform” and “affirmative action”.I asked for specifics.

You’re either playing dumb or you think we’re dumb. Your playbook and fear tactics are archaic.

I’m not interested in the loss of trickle down policies that have been around for half a century and that still have us at the bottom of every metric.

:camby:

Uhhh, they are specifically targeting black people and our communities for voter suppression, so stopping them from doing so would specifically help black people and protect or right to vote.

Stopping white supremacists from rolling back civil rights initiatives that, for example — force companies to file reports on employee pay by race (thus making it harder for companies to practice pay discrimination towards black people) and enable court enforced police department reforms reached in black communities after the Trayvon Martin and Micheal Brown incidents — isn’t specific enough for you?

From what I gather -- and maybe i'm wrong  --- You are using Trump trying to overturn CR policies -- as one of the key reasons to get behind Mr. Joe Biden's and his elite Black team.

No. Buddy asked what they (The black people mentioned in this article) were doing to help black people and I answered. I’m still not clear about how your response applies to what I said.

Again, as sad as all of those issues are -- and as much as they affect us -- it's not and shouldn't be the reason for ADOS/Black Americans to vote for Mr. Biden.

That is a constitutional right and the THOUSANDS of CR Organizations, local/states representatives -- including the other non-Black "POC" orgs/non-profits and reps -- that need to work together to make sure those issues are addressed.

In addition, it's non-profits/Voting Rights Orgs -- that are out here -- and can be created to champion those same issues.
