Even though TDKR is easily the better written movie, I just enjoyed watching the Avengers much more. Kinda weird.

I just think it in terms of entertainment and action, Avengers is king. It doesn't take it self seriously and it keeps things simple yet the stories are complex enough to have you asking questions and pondering storylines for the sequels. Most of all, unlike some comic book movies, it was able to maintain its artistic integrity.
