I feel like there will be a thread two months from now about "Mania wasn't that good. We just had REALLY low expectations."

Same nikkas in here praising will be back on the "WWE will be nonexistent in 5 years" train. Absolutely zero middle ground lol

What pisses me off is that is so easy to get wrestling fans exited about the product. All it takes is one well booked angle or a great big show and we are all over again.

I really don't wanna think how booking sucks 99% of the time though, I wanna enjoy what I just watched and not dread how they are gonna fukk it all up in the next 4-8 weeks.

Show was great regardless of expectation. Even though the build was historically bad, every match still had big potential to be at least good.

Come on really ?????? The rock , nwo , legends cosigning bryan , Dean gerring killed , cena beating rusev , blood returning and the first mania cash in of the mitb . Plus all the matches had good to great work in them

Wrestlemania was good not great imo. It would've been great if Rousey put Steph in the armbar but maybe they're setting that up for SummerSlam or Mania next year.

I didn't have any expectations going in because the road to it didn't interest me, but I enjoyed the show. Had some issues, but nothing major. I'm going to buy the BR.

OK, some of you are really overdoing it. Mania was good, but not great...and CERTAINLY not BEST WRESTLEMANIA EVER or whatever the fukk you guys are calling it.

As I said in the thread proper, nothing on here was as good as Bryan/Hunter from last year's Mania, and that was, while a pretty good match, nothing more than a standard main event quality WWE bout. Nothing on here was even really THAT close to being as good as that match quality-wise (and this isn't even talking about the stalling, the awful, AWFUL build and some bits of not great booking), so kill the GOAT Mania talk. Not even close to WrestleMania XXX, which might actually be the best Mania ever.

With that being said, it was a GOOD Mania. No bad matches on here (the Divas match was the worst one, and that was merely mediocre. shyt, even Taker/Bray was a paint-by-numbers decent match considering it being contested between a 50 year old who's had his hip replaced and a guy who, while charismatic and gifted with some nice moves, absolutely needs to be carried) and it had one FANTASTIC moment capping it off (though I thought they went too far in trying to make Reings look strong. Should have had him be craftier in getting the advantage over Brock). It was far better than I expected, but let's not get crazy with all of the praise and hype.

Best Mania ever it was not. But it's in the "best of" group imo.

Retarded but still fun as fukk match in HHH/Sting (when fukkery goes right )
Very good Rusev/Cena match. Not the MOTYC I was expecting, but still damn good.
Meh Divas match.
Meh Rock/Rousey segment. I would've been way better if they cut it by 8 minutes.
Meh Taker/Bray match. Went way too long but I was expecting worse.
fukking awesome mainevent (will get to this later).

Comparing to other Manias it helds up as one to be remembered fondly. The fact that the ending wasn't the one we were all dreading makes it look even better. I Let people eat breh, we finally got something worth a shyt after like a year of shytty product. Let's revisit this in a couple of months and see if the hype wears off.

RE: Brock/Reigns. I loved it. Had no issue with Roman going Super Samoan and taking everything Brock gave him because the match was still mostly a sprint. I can live with his no-selling just like I could with Cena's no-selling at Extreme Rules 2012. And this time we got a way better ending.

Was it better than Bryan/HHH? Don't know how to compare it really. It's like comparing Bryan/Sheamus to Brock/Cena at ER.

Not saying this main event was better than the ER classic. But just like the that match and Rumble triple threat, it felt like a spectacle and it was so much fun to watch.

Naw. I mean don't get me wrong. It was good and nothing was complete trash. But was this mania top 10? Hell no. Was it better then the past 3. No imo. Was anything on here better then Bryan and his matches, Taker 1st lose, Punk/Taker, Cena/Rock? No
