They fukked up making Jason Statham a Hero/Family character.
Statham was Bizarro James Bond and the European Sport Car aesthetic
contrasted the JDM and MoPar of O’Connor and Dom perfectly.
They haven’t found a villain to replace what Statham brought in 7.
Furious 7 is the peak of the franchise.
that scene where everybody is at Han’s funeral and Statham is there too,
…But only Dom can sense he’s there is a legit Apex Predator moment.
TOKYO DRIFT…aging like Fine Wine.
the best actual display of driving in the franchise.
nothing captures the nightlife of Japanese Street Racing like Tokyo Drift.
FAST FIVE...is a beast but it’s boring to me until the last arc…
it’s the best actual movie in the franchise lol, but I’m over it.
2FAST2FURIOUS…i treat this as an origin story for Ludacris and Tyreese.
the only time we see Tyreese as an Alpha and not an ensemble court jester;
i rock with John Singleton but this wasn't a good movie lol
FAST 6... the premise was fire.
The Family taking on a identical, capable version of themselves.
But it wasn’t as good as you’d THINK it’d be for [as good of an idea] as it was.
4TH MOVIE... literally 2Fast2Furious but with Dom instead of Tyreese.
the Phenix character with the Gran Torino is dope though.
ppl forget that this is the film that actually saved the franchise before Fast Five
