Sinister w/ Ethan Hawke. the demon looks scary as fukk plus the grainy home movies/music are very effective

The Conjuring (the hand clap is one of the most clever things i've seen in a horror movie. the 2nd time it happens is scary as a mf)

Insiduous. they kinda cheated though with the long silence followed by loud ass music. but it has some good scenes (shadow pacing back & forth outside, then all off a sudden the guy's in the house)

Ringu

Paranormal Activity 3 (the last 10 minutes at the grandma's house was really well done)

The exorcist
Rosemary's baby is quite chilling.

That movie is eerie as fukk. The realism is what makes this movie creepy. dude sold out his wife for a career :damn:

Fire In The Sky had me SHOOKED as a kid...

Alien movies (anything with the Greys) have me like :sadcam::sadcam::sadcam:

Real talk, the abduction and subsequent experimentation/probing scene is one of the most frightening, and unsettling scenes I have ever seen to date. I was cowering in the corner watching that, and I remained shooked for days afterward. I had to keep telling myself that the film was BS and them fukkers weren't really out there.

I don't even remember all of that scene and I'm glad. That movie seriously fukked me up mentally when it came to aliens and the Supernatural

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
Fire in the sky was brutal as a kid. D.B. Sweeney my y dawg I hate it had to be him. :sadcam:

But, honestly, the movie that scared me the most as a kid was Species. You have to understand that when I saw it my notion of sex was still highly undeveloped. So, the thought that you could be getting it on with a woman and she turns into a damn 7 foot alien scared me in ways you can't imagine. :to:

It was movie from the 80s
There was this high school nerd who always got picked on by this group of kids
One day they almost kill him by getting acid thrown all over him
For the 10 year anniversary of graduation they all get invites to go back to the school
The school is now abandoned but they still go in because it's raining outside
The nerd starts picking them off one by one

I might've gotten some details wrong because I haven't seen it in 20 years
It's not the scariest but I've been wondering the name of it ever since
Maybe one of ya could help
So what's the name of this?

The Shining was hot garbage, when I finally saw it, I was mad as hell for everyone over-hyping it. :stopitslime:

I just downloaded The Evil Dead 1& 2. I never saw the original Sam Raimi versions :snoop: which is odd cause I like Raimi and Bruce Campbell :manny:
I saw the 2013 version and I thought it was really good.

I got "In the Mouth of Madness" too, supposedly a good creepy movie.

I'ma check out "Cropsey" @Honga Ciganesta & "Communion" @kp404 both sparked my interest.
