New interview..she finally speaks about losing in UFC and her expected reaction last night
On Being Happy She Lost Her UFC Fights: “It was me versus the world in an individual sport. I thought I would never say this, but I’m so happy I lost those fights [to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes] because it led me here. This is so worth it. Everything really does happen for a reason. I’m just so grateful. I thought I never would be [grateful] for [the losses], but time is a great teacher. I’m just really, really glad I gave it time instead of giving up and feeling it was the end of the world. There’s so many people who encounter tragedies who feel like the world and time won’t heal it. But all I can say to those people is: Just give it time, even if you think time can’t heal it. You never know what will happen and where it will lead you. Every missed opportunity is a blessing in disguise. I really believe it now.”

On Owing WWE Fans An Apology: “I owe the WWE universe an apology, because I thought they were going to boo me out of the building from day one. They really accepted me from day one. Hopefully, I satisfied a lot of skeptics tonight. I underestimated how kind the WWE universe would be. I thought any outsiders would be shunned. I was expecting to get shunned and to have to battle to be accepted. I worked my ass off to pay respect to what’s so important to them, and hopefully they saw that tonight. I’m just so grateful, man. I’m trying my best to deserve it.”

Ronda never shyed away from being a pro wrestling fan, she steered right into it during her peak actually which was smart. She had nothing to fear for that reason as far as being accepted in.

That’s one thing about wrestling fans in general if you’re big in another form of entertainment and you show legit love to pro wrestling you’ll get a fair shot if you make the jump

Most of us weren’t wrong to be cautiously optimistic about the match since she seemed stiff when she was selling leading up. Future is bright if they pair her with the right opposition going forward.

she def proved me wrong I thought it would be a trainwreck. How do they book her now though? Shes kind of like Chyna in that it makes no sense for her to be in the women's division is she gonna fight men?

Also if Steph is fine, she might have the best punches on the roster :leon:

I am not apologizing because she's still green and she still can't talk. If anything the quality of that match is a testament to the power of good booking.
I'm on this side. Anything involving a McMahon will surely be handled with care from a booking and layout perspective. Being HHH's new shiny toy helps. We'll see how the fans handle it when she is pushed to the moon over the establiahed vet for a title shot. :jbhmm:...sound familiar?

Where we at now?

I'm entertained by her, honestly. I like her a lot more than I thought I would. And if they're about to ditch the "happy to be here" persona in favor of being more like a face Lesnar, I'm all for it. :ehh:
