Shane leaping off a cell and Cena/Rock vs Bray was the only thing I can give him props bout and even those had awkward set ups

This show was a pathetic effort by Cokeboy and company :mjcry:

I hope something interesting happens tomorrow but it doesn't look like it will.
What's funny is that they actually had an in-universe storyline that if Shane won, changes would come.

I know that it was just a storyline and that Shane isn't really about to be taking over the Fed like that, but still, talk about an awkward story to tell.

And when you consider that all of the legacy people won tonight at the expense of the newbies...yikes.

It's supposed to be Battle Royal instead of Battle Royale like I spelled it.

Didn't you purposefully link to the novel for that very reason? :dwillhuh:

Breh, they had Shane McMahon come back after 6 years to promise change and call out management for their shytty product, the crowd agreed with him and wanted to see something new. And then they book him in an impossible match and make him lose, leaving fans with the same shytty product he wanted to change. I mean there's not even a devil's advocate argument to defend this level of retarded booking :why: :dead:

For some reason, in that initial post you quoted, THIS is hyperlinked. I assumed that you did that to point out that it was BR without an *E*....:ohhh:

Maybe it's an error or something. Hell, maybe I need to run some anti-malware software....:merchant:

It's such a BIZARRE choice.

Do they even realize how that LOOKS contextually? On a meta-level?

They've 1) Acknowledged that the show is trash 2) Acknowledged that the fans are angered by it and want change 3) Brought someone in who, at least on a surface level, actually seems like he would have the skill and power to make said changes, and 4) Taken it all away from us.

It's like, I *get* that Shane was never going to be "taking over RAW" because of a fake-match with Undertaker. But still...WHY would they write that? Honestly, how much coke has Vince been snorting over these past 2 months? :russ:

Roman won clean. Hunter tried to grab a sledgehammer (For no reason whatsoever), Roman ended up evading and spearing him.

Shane got a pop but it wasn't a particularly good match. And they had made decisions earlier in the night that I think may have killed the crowd a bit.

I hope some of you are just being contrarian because 'Mania was a dreadful show. The Women's Match was probably the best of the night, and Aj/Jericho was strong.

But everything else was trash. The Taker/Shane match was plodding and without drama.

I missed the main event. The main event could not have saved the show.

Some of you are entertained by the WWE standard, and that's fine. But you should be smart enough to discern what entertains from that which is good quality.

Good to hear.

Real talk, I was arguing with people on Twitter. We were riding out to dinner and the Queen was like, "I thought you didn't like wrestling anymore."

I'm on some Common shyt, "I Used to Love Her."
