he like robert downey jr in tropic thunder hes an actor that never breaks character
this is the dumbest statement i ever heard... no, not anybody can sell drugs. well technically, yea you can.. here's some drugs... there, now i'm a drug dealer..
what most rappers are talking about is selling drugs ON THE CORNER.. most likely in a hood area. lets see your frat boys hop out in dade county and push coke on the block. see how long they last out there before they got robbed, shot, killed, extorted, arrested, beat up, etc, etc
lindsay lohan can go pick up coke from somebody. you think she driving to the hood to get it??
there's a huge difference in selling to some other white boys, scared college students and other types. who know you, know where you live, ain't killing nothing, and the only thing you fear is someone telling
its another to say i was out in one of the most dangerous cities in america, pushing crack and coke on the streets for 10-15-20 years and never even got arrested once and nothing ever happened to me ever. that's a little toooo far fetched
and i never mentioned ross for the record.. i'm more pointing out how crazy it sounds to compare a hood drug dealer to a frat boy dealer
Ross made himself a G in this rap game. Just like Suge Knight wasn't a heavy dude before the money and fame, but no one can dispute that he wasn't certified when all that came along. Same goes for Puff.
Ok, as long as we all understand that the character that is rick ross is on par with an actor or movie director..I'm good with thatWas Martin Scorsese a gangster? No...
Does he depict the lifestyle really well and make it good entertainment? Yes...
That's the fun of listening to Ross. He knows and we know it's :ducktales: But he has so committed to this character that it's laudable and the music ain't bad.
nah youre wrong, and sound very naive...anybody can sell drugs if they know the right people...ANYBODY
look at Garret Reid...rich white boy who sold pills and HEROIN in tough areas of Philly...
