I'll even start it off by saying I don't like how rude and short he is to his male callers.

Because he has to control the situation and the talking points or he gets irritated. It's a ego thing and which is one of the reasons why he gets looked at the way he does. He wants things on his own terms at all times.

Egotistical leaders don't work.

I really don't think it's ego more so as it is controlling the narrative. His podcast is him basically spitting game on white supremacy and events (mainly recent) affected by that. I mean it is the Tariq Elite radio show, of course he's gonna control the argument on his show. Alot of times he's short with the callers on his show because they try to veer off topic or start rambling about nothing. I've listened to more than a few shows where he's talking about some real shyt and somebody calls in with a question about getting women. He can be rude but I appreciate that when he does it to keep the topic on point

Also one point I took away from him that has stuck with me is u have to frame the argument yourself if you're going to debate a white supremacist. Make sure u ask the questions and let them box themselves in. You cannot use logic and common sense when talking to a racist white person, they will play dumb when it's convenient. If u box them in u can let them play dumb until they completely discredit themselves. That's game for anybody who has ever argued with a cac online.

I just think people look for reasons to dislike anybody who speaks the truth about racism the way Tariq does. Most of his detractors lurk anonymously on Internet forums

Tariq gets the hate he gets because people still don't know if he's using race as a hustle or legit caring. I personally don't care seeing how those same people let Black Lives Matter leaders line their pockets but it's whatever.

His debate game is mad shaky when he's not in control of the situation. He's a boisterous and not as informed as he should be,which is what Fox news looks for in guest.

I'm jealous of Tariq because I always wanted to be a father to these nykkas. Don't none of them call me dad.

*He's cool in my book. Just too many people here champion him as the end all be all. When there are dozens of other scholars out there with a platform and more potent message.

Who dislike him talking about "race hustler" are simply broke boys who hate to see any black people building anything positive.

Crackers hustle the entire planet to pay taxes and those same "he's a hustler" c00ns won't do or say shyt because they're spineless clowns.

But those aren't really black people they're usually cacs using online blackface.

yeah.

i love that he is saying something and applaud his effort but ironically, he has a very similar debate style to the guy he was arguing with and just happened to be the person not in control

because he came up talking about macking and gaming women from the african american "perspective", borderline self help styled books, and now he's on to racial politics. there's no correlation between the two outside of bringing race into the discussion which means he's a sensationalist using race. there are well more qualified people to speak on the topics and every time someone like him steps up, it becomes an embarrassment because he's speaking a lot from current events and personal opinion, two of which are HIGHLY abundant in this day and age due to media and technology that gets your voice out.

So it's cool if everyone else has a voice, but because he wrote about relationships (& still talks about it BTW) he is somehow unqualified? Who do you feel is better?

Well for some he is the end all be all. It's like a hood guy thinking a bmw is the epitome. When there's a slew of higher end cars.

That beamer is still nice though....

So a person can't be knowledgeable in multiple topics?

Better yet, is he consistently wrong in what he shares concerning black empowerment?

to put faith in someone with actually little experience discussing politics with real politicians and just giving him a pass because he's black and wrote books on other subjects is similar to giving donald trump the presidency simply because he's a "good" businessman and because of his art of the deal book. the only thing that makes him valid in the political discussion is his lean towards race. if he wasn't talking about "black" this or "white" that, he'd have no points. i'm not saying he can't do his thing, i'm saying everyone following him as if he's "right" or onto something is mistaken about his direction. politicians should be talking, people with actual political agendas. his is a racial agenda.

for as much time as he has spent on it, his skills as a speaker and communicator are fairly limited
I say this as someone who has given 1000+ speeches

you have to be prepared to shine in different styles and with different situations

it's excusable when you are an intellectual covering extremely technical information

But when you are an "everyman" trying to speak on universal issues and relate with broad appeal
..it needs to be flawless

There's a shelf life on potential
unless he can develop himself further, he's probably gone about as far as he can in life
When the race crisis inevitably cool off (at least for a while), his drawing power will likewise fade
And he'll need a new topic (again)

of course they can but this isn't his playing field. end of story. we both know that. i wouldn't hire a man to operate on me just because he read a few medical books. as far as black "empowerment" techniques, i'm not analyzing that. i'm saying he doesn't know politics. give me an example of what he'll share that you've found empowering yourself.

If any of these people have watched or listened to Neely Fuller Jr they would know he does the exact same thing. Tariq got some of his game from him just like staying "on code" which is a Fuller thing too
