Chinatown has a commodity they can't get in their own communities. Chinese culture, and even then they don't spend much money there.
People have a misconception about china town when trying to compare black people and talk about group economics.
Chinatown isn't some booming economy. In a lot of ways life is fukked for a lot of people in Chinatown. They are looking for a way out. They aren't raising their kids to open and slave in a restaurant for 15 hours a day. They are working in that restaurant to send their kids to school and to work for the white man, the very thing y'all telling us we should reject in this thread.
Again conflicting narratives based off things that sound good on the surface but don't really hold up to scrutiny.
