If you buy out the competition, there is no competition, which is exactly what Comcast is doing. What is hurting cable competition more than their regional monopolies and buyouts like this?

History has shown that acquisitions leading to disproportionate market shares of companies are always a net negative for consumers. We already see this with the regional monopolies cable companies have. That this has to be spelled out for you is more a reflection of your ignorance than any kind of knee jerk reaction by HL's "liberal cabal". I am no liberal and I am not for this deal.
