I have compassion for people struggling with addictions, but he should've never gotten behind the wheel of a car. He could've killed someone. What makes it worse is he has enough bread to phone in a helicopter to pick him up from anywhere if he wanted to. He should (but won't) be punished to the full extent of the law.

there's a legal limit. Drinking shouldn't impair you unless you got the spins and not walking properly. Otherwise you probably had questionable driving skills in the first place.

Exactly. Looking at the list of Schedule IV drugs, he did some extremely dangerous shyt. Thought I saw some benzos on that list, those fukkin things are no joke. Sometimes will make a person straight up pass out. Grabbing some mango kush and smoking it in about 3 2 pack wraps of mango zig zags ain't nowhere near as dangerous (actually makes me drive more defensively) as what Irsay did, but let a NFL player did it and First Take would be all over his ass despite the fact Irsay could have passed the fukk out behind the wheel and killed someone

Irsay is a good owner as far as football goes. Knicks and Lakers fans wish this drunk druggy b*stard ran their teams. For the most part he allows his football people to do what they want. Wouldnt even know the guy was alive if he wasnt on Twitter like a stoned high school kid.

On a more serious note. Jim has fought battlles with prescription drugs before. He used to be a alcoholic and heavy pill popper and got past it all, or so it seemed. As much as you all clown on him here theres a reason Colt fans love him (because it's not a given a fanbase likes their owner) He's a GREAT guy, he gives to all kinds of charities in the city, loves and supports the team with the emotions of a diehard, tweets open and honestly while always giving out free prizes and cash and tickets to fans, and seems like genuine kind hearted person. I hope he gets over this next fight and can recover to the point he had earlier, the city and team will show noting but love and support

My father has battled addiction problems throughout his life and finally kicked it a year ago, but for those predisposed to addiction it's a lifetime battle and one wrong decision could erase all of the hard work a former addict has done to get clean. I know it's The Coli and people will continue to make jokes, but I personally hope he gets help and truly gets clean. But it's really a fukked up situation for everyone involved
