I wonder what would've happened if Colt had the foresight to see this going badly, and just refused to do the podcast from the get-go? Would Punk have been salty that his friend wouldn't give him a platform?

Given that the reason they fell out might actually be because Colt went backstage at a WWE show to visit people during the Amann suit (which, by the way, would be a totally legitimate reason for Punk to flip his shyt and for his law firm to drop him as a client), there's a good chance that might have ticked him off a little bit.

It’s surreal how things have played out since then. Cabana thought his podcast was getting it’s big break and Punk thought he was doing a favor for his friend by giving him his biggest interview, instead it ended up tearing them apart.
